Join Tazewell County EMA
The Tazewell County Emergency Management Agency (TC EMA) is looking for individuals interested in the field of Emergency Management who would like to serve the public through a volunteer roll. The functions of a volunteer would be to attend required trainings and participate in response situations such as severe weather reporting, become part of the Tazewell County Search & Rescue (TC SAR) teams, opportunity to be part of the Communications Team or the Unified Command Post (UCP) Team. There are also opportunities to work with local law enforcement, fire departments, and neighboring counties in many support roles. Volunteers are encouraged to participate in public events where TC EMA equipment and promotion of the organization takes place.
